Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2, 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Universal Booking website, applications, APIs, and related services (the “Services”) operated by Universal Booking (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, using a business dashboard, listing a public booking page, or making a booking as a customer, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Description of the Services
Universal Booking provides tools for service businesses to publish a public booking page, manage services and team members, accept appointments, and operate related workflows. Features may include trials, paid subscriptions, coupons, reporting, and analytics relating to usage of the platform (including aggregated metrics such as visitor or engagement statistics where available). We may modify, add, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or legal risk.
4. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
4.1 Trials
We may offer free or discounted trials. Trial length, eligibility, and included features are described at signup or in your dashboard. Unless stated otherwise, only one trial per business or payment method may apply. When a trial ends, access to paid features may require an active subscription or renewal.
4.2 Paid plans
Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan, currency, and billing cycle you select (e.g., monthly or annual). Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You authorize us and our payment partners to charge your chosen payment method for recurring fees until you cancel in accordance with these Terms.
4.3 Price changes
We may change subscription prices or introduce new fees with reasonable advance notice (e.g., by email or dashboard notice). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance of new pricing for subsequent renewal periods.
4.4 Coupons and promotions
Promotional codes or coupons (including trial extensions) are subject to their stated terms, expiration, and redemption limits. We may refuse or revoke promotions that are misused or obtained fraudulently.
5. Cancellation, renewal, and refunds
5.1 Cancellation by you
You may cancel a paid subscription through the account or billing controls we provide (e.g., dashboard or payment portal), or by following the cancellation instructions in your plan documentation. Cancellation typically stops future renewals; it does not necessarily delete your account or historical data immediately—see our Privacy Policy for retention.
5.2 Effect of cancellation
After cancellation, you may retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period already paid for, unless stated otherwise. When a subscription or trial expires without renewal, we may restrict access to certain features or disable public booking pages until payment is restored, subject to applicable law and product configuration.
5.3 Refunds
Unless required by law or a separate written agreement, fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was unauthorized or made in error, contact us promptly with details. We will consider refund requests in line with our policies and payment provider rules. Chargebacks may result in account suspension pending resolution.
5.4 Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or risk to the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases; provisions that by nature should survive (e.g., liability limits, indemnity) remain in effect.
6. Analytics and data use
We may collect and use aggregate or de-identified analytics to operate and improve the Services, including usage metrics, performance monitoring, and (where offered) insights for business users about their public pages. Such processing is further described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Business users are responsible for complying with applicable laws when collecting data from their own customers and for providing appropriate notices.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or third-party rights;
- Upload malware, scrape the Services in an abusive manner, or attempt unauthorized access;
- Use the Services to send spam, deceptive offers, or harassing content;
- Misrepresent your identity, business, or services;
- Reverse engineer or copy the Services except as permitted by law;
- Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization.
8. Business listings and end customers
Businesses are solely responsible for their listings, availability, pricing, staff, services, and compliance with industry regulations. If you book as a customer, your contractual relationship for the underlying service is with the business; we provide technology only.
9. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, branding, and content we provide, are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of content you upload; you grant us a license to host, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the Services.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and employees against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms, subject to our prompt notification and reasonable cooperation.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Universal Booking operates its primary business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and cancel your subscription as described above.
